Portland Weekly: Some good news from the newsroom

So much news to share this week, not necessarily from our headlines. We have a new food writer, Tim Cebula. Drop him a line. Tell him about your Portland food experiences. We'll have more new staff joining us soon. I'll introduce you to them as they arrive.

We also have a new page up that showcases our photographers' best work. Check out our Maine Darkroom. There's so much to see. And did you know that you can buy prints of our photos? They make great gifts - especially for people who love Maine but aren't lucky enough to live here.

Speaking of those people, if you know some, I'm starting a newsletter for them called Postcard from Maine, which I'll send out twice a month, full of our best photos and stories about arts and culture, the outdoors, food and restaurants and more.
